« Pick daffodils for the terracotta vase on the kitchen table before settling down to a platter of oysters with peppery sauce or a pinch of grated horseradish served on rye bread and washed down with schnapps»
Colour: Clear
Nose: Deliciously dirty! Funky with plasticine, antiseptic, earthy, butternut squash, sunflowers, sesame seeds, grated horseradish, rye, schnapps and oyster shells.
Palate: Light floral notes of rose, geranium, honeysuckle and carnation, plus orange blossom honey, rye, schnapps, ginger, star anise, cloves, white pepper, paprika, mace and oysters with spiced, peppery sauce.
Finish: Peppery, brine and, at the end, orange liqueur.
Conclusion: Fantastic on its own or with a few drops of water as a digestif, or mixed into a Martini, especially a Dirty Martini!
