Nose : It's the smell of the gym with rubber mats and plimsolls, leather handguards and a bowl of chalk dust to protect hands from the ropes which hang from metal hooks in the ceiling. There's a medicine cabinet with linseed oil, antiseptic creams, plasters and bandages for cuts.
Palate : It's the boxing ring with ropes, boxing gloves and satin robes, a rubber mouthguard with antiseptic rinse, ripe bananas and sliced oranges, polished silver trophies, plus avocado and chilli on sourdough, mango and cinnamon rice pudding.
Finish : Chai tea and silver polish.
