Bottled exclusively for the Limoges Spirits Festival 2025

Jamaican Rum, Blend of Hampden C<>H 2007 and Hampden <H> 2013, Finish in Ex Guyana Rum Cask (Diamond PM 2011), 64.9%, Cask Strength, only 87 bottles, 500ml

«For this 3rd edition of the Limoges Spirits Festival, we're combining Jamaican funk with exotic Guyanese flavours. It's a jam that's sure to put a spell on you!»

Nose : Elegant and unaggressive, which is surprising when you consider what lies in the glass. Ripe, stewed fruit opens the ball, followed by a touch of dried varnish. Then, in the background, an assertive greediness: imagine a tart still warm in its buttered metal mould, a crispy golden croissant, melted milk chocolate... All spiced up with a hint of smoked paprika that is disorientating.

Palate: Everything starts off smoothly, but very quickly the punch comes through. Explosion of overripe fruit, return of the varnish, this time still fresh - before the greediness takes over again: cooked fruit, roasted notes, a hint of coffee, cocoa powder sprinkled over a just-prepared hot chocolate, accompanied by chocolate mignardises on a polished silver tray.

Finish: Smooth and comforting, the pleasure is prolonged with well-cooked fruit, melted butter and the impression of shortcrust pastry being released from a plastic mould, in a final note that is both warm and intriguing.

Conclusion: A blend of two casks bursting with fruity, funky flavours, and a finish in one of the most gourmet casks. The result? A 3-dimensional bomb!
