Nose: Intense, beautifully fresh, green apple, fresh pear, lemon juice, roasted pineapple, fresh grass. With more aeration, butterscotch appears with a hint of beeswax.
Palate: Orange and lemon zest, slight sweetness, dried apricot, cooked apple and pear, varnished and patinated wood certainly brought by the older cognac, slightly liquorice, hint of iodine, beeswax.
Finish: Long and lemony, orange zest, waxed wood.
Conclusion: A Cognac produced by a three-generation-old house, perfectly representing the richness and elegance of this spirit, which will delight novice and seasoned tasters alike!
