Revealed like a whispered secret ahead of the festive season, this cuvée will come fully into the light on Christmas Day.
This year, Maison Tiffon celebrates 150 years of history and craftsmanship, shaped with patience and dedication in the art of cognac making. Owners of 40 hectares of vineyards in Fins Bois and Grande Champagne, they oversee every step of the process: from distilling their eaux-de-vie in 10 traditional copper stills, to aging them in their own cellars, and finally blending and bottling entirely in-house.
Generation after generation, Maison Tiffon has patiently built a precious reserve of aged eaux-de-vie, carefully preserved over time. This rare heritage now allows them to create blends that are bold yet delicate, refined and deeply expressive, where time itself becomes a vital ingredient.
At Swell de Spirits, we were deeply inspired by this story and its spirit of transmission. It is within this almost fairy-tale atmosphere that this selection was born, a precious blend from the Borderies cru.
Although Maison Tiffon does not own vineyards in this terroir, this cuvée is the result of meticulously selected musts sourced from long-standing partners, true specialists of this singular cru, renowned for its elegant floral notes of jasmine and violet.
Distilled by Maison Tiffon, these eaux-de-vie were then entrusted to time and to the expertise of several generations of cellar masters, slowly maturing in the heart of a century-old oak foudre, revealing an expression that is bright, graceful, and timeless.
