« Every sip delivers a powerful explosion of exotic overripe fruits, boldly setting it apart from the timid and forgettable rums, much like a lion among house cats. »
Colour : Apple juice
Nose : The attack is very fresh, marked by bright pineapple, accompanied by ripe banana and mango. Harlequin candy adds a twist, followed by pickled zest and a fine layer of solvent. In the background, a few hazelnuts rest on a bed of crystallised caramel.
Palate : A ripe fruit salad from the very first sip, with pineapple in the lead and banana floating on a solvent background. Then a big pastry kick comes in: we find ourselves in the middle of baking a banana cake with chocolate chips, still in the oven. Freshness returns with a touch of menthol, mixed with sweet fruit.
Finish : A warm finish, with hints of a still-warm fireplace, sweet smoke and toasty oak. Remnants of flambéed bananas and dried fruit round off the finish.
Conclusion : An explosive, mouth-watering profile that swings between overripe tropical fruit, generous pastry and a background of smoky wood. A true sensory voyage.
