Colour : Mahogany
Nose : Lots of very ripe fruit right from the start, with peach dominating, intermingled with heavier notes of rum, toasted oak and wood glue. Empyreumatic notes also come through, accompanied by some red fruit and fresh varnish, all wrapped up in warm nuances of brioche and almond.
Palate : Fuller and deeper than the nose, it reveals warm notes of stewed fruit, oak, rubber and coconut. Gradually, the petroleum touches come to the fore, adding a raw, racy edge, with a hint of brass to enrich the whole.
Finish : The finish is spicy, with pepper, cloves and black fruit served in a silver bowl, with a hint of saltiness to prolong the sensation.
Conclusion : A rich, vibrant spirit that plays with power and elegance, sure to unsettle more than one palate!
