Nose: From the very first nosing, the profile oscillates between character and exoticism. Light varnish, eucalyptus and camphor are quickly wrapped in a wave of tropical fruits: ripe mango, papaya, pineapple and golden banana. With time, the nose becomes more indulgent, revealing notes of brioche with candied fruits, toasted almonds and a touch of vanilla, all carried by a refreshing menthol lift.
Palate: The attack is explosive and precise. A basket of perfectly ripe fruits! Mango, guava, papaya, pineapple, along with peach and apricot, take the lead, followed by spices, soft pepper and cinnamon, citrus, bergamot and fresh lime, bringing tension and vibrancy. Notes of toasted almond and dark chocolate add depth and richness to a full-bodied palate.
Finish: Long and bright, driven by tropical fruits, delicately toasted oak and a lingering menthol freshness, enhanced by hints of cocoa and liquorice.
Conclusion : A successful blend where the tropical energy of TDL meets the elegant, slightly funky structure of Monymusk. A complex and vibrant rum, combining fruity smoothness with a bold tropical burst.
